Delaware Office of Highway Safety

Deardorff Associates, a branding agency based in Philadelphia, PA, manages an ongoing campaign initiative dedicated safe driving in the state of Delaware. I am frequently contracted to collaborate with Deardorff in their efforts to deliver campaign messaging that is engaging, and impactful.

Challenge

Create social media posts that contribute to the Arrive Alive DE initiative in new and creative ways.

Research

Usually I collaborate with Deardorff's team to conceive of new ideas that are designed to bring awareness to safe driving practices.

Process

Once an idea is landed on I begin with sketches and storyboarding with the end goal being a storyboard that outlines every second of the video. Then we send the finished storyboard out for approval from DOHS (Delaware Office of Highway Safety).

Execution

Once the storyboard gets approval I create the final animation. This is usually a 1-3 day process where the video is created and sent back for revisions. Then once we get client approval the video is posted to the DOHS website and social platforms.

Result

These videos have contributed to award winning campaigns and fostered a long standing relationship with Deardorff and DOHS in a shared effort in keeping Delawarean drivers safe.
