Alphasource© is a Philadelphia, PA based company that manufactures and distributes safety and maintenance equipment for industrial use specializing in nuclear power generation. Over the course of a year, I was contracted to do multiple large scale projects to effectively flush out their brand identity and modernize all of the marketing and sales tools they use.

Challenge
Alphasource© needed a website that could function as a digital storefront, educational resource, and a tool for the sales team to manage clients.
Work Overview

I started by meeting with team leaders within the company to learn about the nuanced business practices they employ and the specific features that they could use to interact with their customers. I converted that information into a project proposal so we could begin interviewing development teams.

Client Value Adds:

Creative Approach

One of the unique challenges Alphasource© faced was not having a cohesive brand system or guidelines. This website was an opportunity to develop a visual language that goes beyond their logos and could be used in branded material moving forward. I created wireframes, site maps, and webpage prototypes that would be referenced in design and structure for the remainder of the project.

Execution

The brand is still being built out at this time, however, the Alphasource plans to roll out products with the new logo in the next production batch which is when Coreshield will become a household name in Nuclear power plants globally.

Content Population

While overseeing development, I was populating the pages with content. This allowed me to ensure the backend was user-friendly enough for the Alphasource team to modify and update content.

Launch

5 months after starting the project, we launched the website in February 2025. 2 months later our website's key metrics indicate continuous growth and a new revenue stream for the company.

Challenge
Alphasource© needed to redesign their 1000+ SKU catalog for their nuclear power generation clients.
Creative Approach

Before I began designing the catalog, I needed to pinpoint what the company's trying to communicate with their brand, and how that would translate into a design language. We arrived on the idea that Alphasource is a "One Stop Shop" for our customers with a knowledgable staff that can educate those who are new to Drop Prevention and Foreign Material Exclusion (FME).

Execution

The catalog design reflects the company's strengths with the photography being clean representations of the product variety and examples of products in use. Accompanied by a design that focuses on legibility to help customers feel informed and prepared for outages which are the most difficult operations a nuclear power plant goes through.

Result

The brand is still being built out at this time, however, the Alphasource plans to roll out products with the new logo in the next production batch which is when Coreshield will become a household name in Nuclear power plants globally.

Challenge
Alphasource entrusted me with creating the logo and brand identity of their Coreshield product line.
Context

Coreshield encompasses Alphasource© products that are specifically designed to protect open systems in nuclear power plants, a vital precaution used when servicing machinery.

Product Example:
FME covers are fastened over pipes and system openings to prevent foreign objects from entering the system. These covers come in many variations to account for different sizes and use cases and are all rated for power generation use.

Creative Approach

It was important to communicate certain brand values within the logo. Protection, the application of the product within a power plant, and American made. I took inspiration from Lance Wyman's logo and icon designs. He uses simple shapes to create bold and systematic designs that feel established, a perfect style given the prompt.
